Satsuma mandarins were cultivated worldwide and could be an interesting option for the Brazilian citrus industry due to its tolerance to Alternaria alternata infection. Plant growth, yield ans fruit quality of Satsuma varieties 'Clauselina', 'Okitsu', 'Unshu' SRA 529, 'Saigon SRA 227, 'Panaché' SRA 579, 'Salzara' SRA 341, 'Miyagawa' SRA 444, 'Kowano' SRA 167, 'FCAV-59' and 'A2 60.0' budded onto 'Swingle' citrumelo (P. trifoliata Raf. x C. paradisi Macf.) were studied in a experiment carried out in Bebedouro, SP, Brazil. The experiment, planted in may, 2001 and drip irrigated since 2006, has a randomized blocks design and was tree height, diameter and volume in 2006 and 2007, total yield (2004-2008) and fruit quality (mass, height, diameter, yield of juice, soluble solids, total acidity, ratio and technological index) in 2006 and 2007 were evaluated. 'Unshu' and 'Clauselina', presented the largest and the smallest tree, respectively. The 'Miyagawa' SRA 444 was the best yielder differing from 'Panaché' SRA 579 and 'FCAV-59'. Significant differences were observed among the varieties for fruit size in 2007 but not in 2006. In 'Panaché', 'Salzara' and 'Kowano'. No difference was observed among the varieties in juice content. The differences observed for ratio suggest different maturation periods for Satsumas. 'Clauselina', 'Okitsu', 'Saigon' SRA 227, 'Miyagawa' SRA 444 and 'A2 60.0' could be considered as early varieties. 'Unshu' SRA 529, 'Panaché' SRA 579, 'Salzara' SRA 341, 'Kowano' SRA 167 and 'FCAV-59' presented late rippening.
